Flora of Delaware
The Flora of Delaware: An Annotated Checklist book was written in 2001 by William McAvoy (DNPS President, and Botanist at the DE Natural Heritage Program) and Karen Bennett (Director of the DE Natural Heritage Program). Primary support for the book came from the DE Department of Natural Resources, and additional support came from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the DE Department of Agriculture, and the DE Department of Transportation. It is not a DE Native Plant Society publication, but we use the book on a daily basis and have an order form available on this page. The book is a fantastic accompaniment to any field guide.
